BADMINTON FINLAND COMPETITION SYSTEM

SSuL sanctioned competitions can be organized by any SSuL member club, competitions are accepted (or rejected) based on applications.
Competitions in the general category, levels (classes) V, A, B and C, are divided into three different levels:
Premier Elite
The highest ranked non-championship competition for all levels. The competition must meet the criteria for Premier Elite competitions as closely as possible, one of the acceptance criteria for future competitions. It is also possible to play a limited number of age groups.
Elite
The second highest ranked non-championship competition for all levels. The competition must meet the criteria for Elite competitions as closely as possible, one of the acceptance criteria for future competitions. It is also possible to play a limited number of age categories.
National
Non-championship competition with the third highest ranking points for all levels and age categories. Multiple competitions possibly on the same weekend, no restrictions to competitions. The criteria given will be used as one of the acceptance criteria for future competitions.
In addition:
Junior Elite
Non-championship competition for players of the highest ranking points for junior age groups.
Senior Elite
Non-championship competition for players in the senior age groups with the highest ranking point value.
National junior low level competitions. The second highest ranking non-championship for junior age-group players.
Championships
Finnish Championships (SM) - limited participation for the top players in the country according to the competition rules. Eligibility limited in the Competition Rules.
Youth Championships - Finnish U19 championships. Eligibility limited in the Competition Rules.
Seniors SM - Finnish Championships for age groups 35+ - 80+. Eligibility limited in the Competition Rules.
U17 and U15 Championships - Finnish Championships for the above age groups. Eligibility limited in the Competition Rules.
Class championships - championships for level classes A, B and C. Eligibility is limited in the Competition Rules.
Age group championship - U13-U9 age group championships. Eligibility is limited in the Competition Rules.

Team Championship - Finnish Club Team Championships
Division I - Team Championship qualifying competition
Team competitions
Low level team competitions - club team competitions organized locally by clubs
Hobby competitions (not sanctioned by SSuL)
Competitions organized by clubs and communities, where there is no license requirement and no ranking points are achieved. Participation rights are entirely at the discretion of the organizer. For now, BTP (at own expense) and TSW are allowed as a publishing platform.
